Rahel Tadesse (M.Sc)

I am a young Ethiopian, worked as a Lecturer and Researcher in Ethiopian Institute of Technology-Mekelle University (EIT-MU). I recently finished my Masters of Science degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands, in “Urban Management and Development”. I am an Urban Environment, Sustainability and Climate Change specialist. My thematic interests include environment and urban planning, policy evaluation and design, sustainable urban development, green growth policy, climate change and its effect on the circular economy. 

I work with different international community specializing in sustainable green environment advocacy.  

As an executive member of the African Diaspora Leadership Initiatives (AfDiLI), I believe we have to unite and work hard for the new generation in Africa. As an African in diaspora, creating sustainable African cities and resilient green environment are my personal and professional goals.
